Helen Gresty

Helen is responsible for developing NESTA's Innovation Programmes - a series of initiatives, which focus on new ways to stimulate and support innovation.

Helen joined NESTA in June 2004 as head of the Nations and Regions team. She has a background in programme management, education policy development, and change management.

Before joining NESTA, Helen spent three years at the National Learning and Skills Council, where she supported the introduction of a regional structure across 47 local councils, managed the £27m Union Learning Fund and led on the development of the organisation's Workforce Development Strategy. During this time, she was also seconded to the Cabinet Office to negotiate the LSC's commitment to the Government's 10-year framework for adult skills.

Prior to this, Helen was involved in trans-national project development and management, working with the Eurochambres network and international education institutions.

Helen is a keen skier and enjoys mountain biking, sailing and cooking.
