Our Innovators Growth programme focuses on how commercial innovation can be encouraged in existing creative businesses and cultural organisations.
We are interested in exploring new business models and ways of working that point to successful growth.
NESTA has recently launched a £3 million Innovators Growth Programme to improve the capacity of small and medium sized creative enterprises to innovate. Over the next 2 years, NESTA plans to launch several sector pilots designed to enable creative businesses to exploit new technologies. The programme will generate evidence to help identify what specific support is required by creative businesses.
Digital Innovation in Film
NESTA and the UK Film Council launch a new initiative, Digital Innovation in Film, to help drive growth in British independent film companies by encouraging them to take better advantage of new technologies.
Creative Business Catalyst
The Creative Business Catalyst pilot will partner business school students with creative businesses to catalyse business growth and stimulate innovation.
Creative Business Mentor Network
The Creative Business Mentor Network will select a cohort of talented individuals who can help creative companies develop their business growth and commercial innovation.

NESTA is working with PACT to enable independent TV production companies and new media companies to collaborate on cross-platform ideas.

The London Fashion Designer Economy Research
This project will identify the barriers to growth in this sector by examining the relationships between fashion designers, manufacturers, retailers, intermediaries and the investment community.
