1. NESTA Ventures only invests in companies incorporated and located in the United Kingdom.
2. By accessing and using this website you agree to be legally bound by these terms and conditions (and as amended from time to time), which will take effect immediately on your first visit of the website. If you do not agree to be legally bound by all the following terms, you are not permitted to use the website, and your application (if you make one) will be invalid and rejected. Use of the website and the information contained on it is governed by English law.
3. NESTA reserves the right to change these terms at any time. All changes will be posted online. Please ensure that you review these terms from time to time to ensure you are aware of any changes made by us. Your use of the website following the posting of any changes constitutes your agreement to be legally bound by these terms and conditions as updated and/or amended.

This website is provided by NESTA as a general information resource only and without any representations or any kind of warranty made (whether express or implied by law) to the extent permitted by law, including the implied warranties of satisfactory quality, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, compatibility, security and accuracy. Nothing that appears on this website is, or should be considered to be, investment advice. You should note that the information provided may not be relevant to your particular circumstances.

12. Multiple applications: You are permitted to make more than one application to NESTA Ventures. However, resubmissions of applications that have already been declined, or submission of applications substantially similar to one that has already been declined, will not be successful. NESTA reserves the right not to review multiple applications, which are considered to be spurious, from the same applicant.
13. NESTA's relationship with management and investee companies: When we enter into negotiations, which may lead to an investment being made, our main responsibility is to NESTA. NESTA does not provide an advisory service to investee companies or their management teams. It is essential that both the management team and the investee company obtain independent professional advice on the merits of any transaction that NESTA proposes, and its suitability for them. For the avoidance of doubt, NESTA is not engaging in designated investment business, such as corporate finance advisory services, with management or the investee company.
14. Confidentiality: NESTA recognises the sensitivity of the information which management and the investee company provide, and takes care in handling confidential matters. However, to make progress with a proposed transaction, NESTA may need to make information available to other prospective participants such as other existing and/or potential investors, banks and other interested parties. NESTA will do this as it judges appropriate to permit proper discussion relating to the proposed transaction.
15. Conflicts of interest: Conflicts may exist or arise between the interests of the management team and the investee company, and the interests of NESTA or other parties to whom NESTA has responsibilities. NESTA may also act, now or in the future, in connection with transactions which involve companies in the same business as the management team or the investee company, and which are actually or potentially in competition with it.
16. Complaints: If for any reason you should wish to complain about the way NESTA undertakes its business, please refer to the complaints section of our website.
17. Submission of information: Where you are invited to submit any information to NESTA, you consent to NESTA using that information for the purpose for which it was requested.
18. You also confirm that such information is your own original work and/or you have the right to make it available to NESTA for the requested purpose; it is not defamatory; discriminatory; offensive or obscene; and it does not infringe any law or the rights of any third party.
19. You also agree to indemnify NESTA and keep NESTA indemnified against all legal fees, damages and other expenses that may be incurred by NESTA as a result of your breach of the above warranty.
